The acrylic is then cooled into a solid.

The industrial strip heaters are used to bend the cut sheets if needed. The cut sheet piece will be put few inches above the heat strip for the right amount of time so that it becomes malleable. Once heating is done, the acrylic is bent and is left to cool.  Problem may occur if you bend incorrectly or before the material became soft enough. Overheating may also cause irregularities.
